Ladies Shines Bootcamps

?? Yes! De donderdagavond bij Poetic Motion wordt weer Ladies Night! We beginnen weer met de Ladies Fundamentals class en dit najaar hebben we iets bijzonders: de Ladies Shines Bootcamps. Iedere twee weken geeft een andere docent een shines-bootcamp waarmee je een uur lang helemaal los kunt gaan!

Shines zijn salsabewegingen die je in je eentje kunt doen (solo). We spelen veel met de salsaritmes en de dynamiek van de muziek. In de lessen leren we hoe je vrouwelijke elementen kan toevoegen aan je persoonlijke stijl. Meer dan het leren van pasjes richten we ons op het ontwikkelen van je individuele creativiteit. En iedere docent neemt weer een eigen stijl en interpretatie mee!

De lessen zijn geschikt voor alle niveaus. Je kunt kiezen of je een maandabonnement neemt of een kaartje koopt voor een losse bootcamp. Het rooster is:

Over de docenten

Voor Lisa is het hele leven een ontdekkings- en ontwikkelingsreis, waarin dansen een bijzondere en stimulerende plek inneemt. Ze is erachter gekomen dat het zoveel mogelijk loslaten van eigen of andermans oordeel het grote verschil maakt. In deze visie streeft zij ernaar zichzelf en anderen de ruimte te geven om kwetsbaar en ‘anders’ te zijn dan de zogenoemde ‘meerderheid’.

Voor Désiree staan passie en plezier centraal bij het dansen en het lesgeven. Zij houdt ervan mensen te helpen hun (dans)grenzen te laten verleggen. Met haar rust en duidelijke manier van lesgeven besteedt Désiree veel aandacht aan een goede danstechniek en aan inlevingsvermogen in de dans en de muziek. Iedereen heeft een eigen persoonlijkheid, en niets is mooier dan die terug te kunnen zien in de dans.

Vivienne begon op 14-jarige leeftijd met Salsa en de Argentijnse Tango. Ze danste onder meer in het showteam van Brian & Mechteld, gaf les bij verschillende dansscholen en trad bijna 10 jaar op in binnen- en buitenland met Ronald. Ze volgt vooral ook zelf graag lessen en verdiepte zich de afgelopen jaren vooral in Afro Cubaanse dans en Rumba. Sinds een paar jaar danst ze nu bij Poetic Motion waar altijd weer iets nieuws te leren valt. Ze heeft meer mentoren in dans dan ze kan benoemen, maar wie een directe invloed hebben of hebben gehad zijn: Brian & Mechteld, Ronald Pieters, Osmar Perrones (Yamulee), Karel Flores, Fabrizio & Beamiris, Mitchell Provence, Johnny & Gina.

We werken met Eversports voor de administratie van onze lessen en betalingen. Je kunt kiezen of je een abonnement neemt op de les of een kaartje koopt voor een losse bootcamp.

Ga naar Eversports en kies in de SHOP voor het abonnement naar keuze. Als je hebt betaald, kun je je inschrijven voor de les.

Ladies Shines Bootcamps

?? Yes! It’s Ladies Night again on Thursdays at Poetic Motion! We are bringing back the Ladies Fundamentals Classes and this fall, we are starting something special: the Ladies Shines Bootcamps. Every two weeks, another dancer will teach a shines bootcamp for you to join and dance your ass off for an hour!

Shines are movements in Salsa that you do on your own (solo). We play a lot with the rhythms in Salsa and the dynamics in the music. In these classes, you will learn how to add feminine elements to your personal style. More than learning new steps, we will focus on developing your individual creativity. And every teacher will bring a new style and interpretation!

The classes are available to dancers of all levels. You can choose if you want to enroll to the whole class, or buy a ticket for one bootcamp. The schedule will be:

About the teachers

To Lisa, life is a journey through discovery and development, in which dancing takes its special and stimulating place. She discovered that the big difference is letting go of your own or other people’s judgement. In this vision, she strives to give herself and others the space to be vulnerable and ‘different’ from the so called ‘majority’.

For Désiree, passion and fun are central to dancing and teaching. She loves helping people push their (dance) boundaries. With her calm composure and her clear way of teaching, she pays attention especially to a well executed dance technique, and to feel and act out the feeling of the music and the dance. Everyone has their own personality, and nothing is more beautiful than when you can see that in someone’s dancing.

Vivienne started dancing Salsa and Argentine Tango at the age of 14. She danced in the the show team by Brian & Mechteld, taught classes at several dance schools and performed home and abroad together with Ronald for almost 10 years. She likes to follow classes herself and in the past years, she specifically studied Afro Cuban dance and Rumba. Since a few years, she started dancing at Poetic Motion, where there is always something new to learn. She has more mentors in dance than she can name, those that have or had a direct influence on her are: Brian & Mechteld, Ronald Pieters, Osmar Perrones (Yamulee), Karel Flores, Fabrizio & Beamiris, Mitchell Provence, Johnny & Gina.

We work with Eversports for the administration of our classes and payments.
You can choose if you enroll to the class or buy a ticket for one individual bootcamp.

Go to Eversports and when in the SHOP, choose the subscription of your choice. When you have finished the payment, you can register for the class.
