?? Wil je salsa leren dansen in Rotterdam of Amsterdam? Of dans je al, maar wil je groeien? Bij Poetic Motion is er altijd een les die bij je past. Zaterdag 6 januari zijn we weer terug van kerstvakantie, dus blijf niet zitten en kom dansen!
In onze lessen besteden we aandacht aan:
– De Eddie Torres Mambo technieken (voor zowel leiders als volgers) en algemene danstechnieken
– Bewustzijn van de basistechnieken van salsa, hun functie en het gevoel erachter
– De basisstructuur van Latin muziek
– Bewustzijn van lichaam en geest
– Connectie met jezelf, je danspartner en de ruimte om je heen
– Je op je gemak voelen en je creatief kunnen uiten in de context van samen dansen
– Thema’s als verbinding, vertrouwen, ontdekken, spanning, samen dansen, muziek en cultuur, elkaar de ruimte geven etc.
Onze lessen bestaan uit fundamentals (de basiselementen van dans), shines (dansmoves die je zonder partner kan doen) en natuurlijk partnering. Plezier en geduld staan voorop, dus je gaat gegarandeerd met frisse energie en een grote glimlach weer terug naar huis.
Wij maken in de les gebruik van de on2 telling, dat is salsa dansen op de 2e tel van de muziekmaat. Je hoeft niet per se met een danspartner te komen.

Start of the new dance year!
?? Do you want to learn to dance salsa in Rotterdam or Amsterdam? Or have you already been dancing for some time, but do you want to grow? At Poetic Motion, there is always a dance class that’s perfect for you. We are back from our Christmas break on January 6th, so get up and come dance!
In our classes, we focus on:
– Learning and mastering the Eddie Torres Mambo techniques (for both leaders and followers) and general dance techniques
– Awareness of basic salsa techniques, their function and the feeling behind them
– Basic structure of Latin music
– Awareness of the human body and mind
– Applying basic techniques in shines and partnering
– Connecting to yourself, your dance partner and the space around you
– Feeling comfortable and creative in the context of social dance
– Themes like connection, trust, discovering, tension, social dance, music and culture, being understanding etc.
Our classes exist of fundamentals (the basic elements of dance), shines (individual dance moves) and of course partnering. Fun and patience are key, so you will return home with fresh energy and a smile on your face for sure.
In our classes we dance on2, that is salsa on the second count of the music. It’s not
necessary to join our classes with a dance partner.
