Dans je al een tijdje salsa, en wil je switchen naar on2? Deze maand beginnen we bij Poetic Motion met een nieuwe cursus van drie maanden voor iedereen die wil switchen van salsa on1 naar salsa on2 dansen.
Waarom on2 dansen?
In onze ogen is elke manier van salsa dansen (salsa on1, salsa on2, Cubaanse salsa of welke andere manier dan ook) gelijk aan elkaar. Het is niet zo dat de ene manier beter, geavanceerder of leuker is dan de andere. Bij Poetic Motion vinden we het belangrijk dat de danstechnieken die we gebruiken, zo goed mogelijk passen bij het functioneren van het menselijk lichaam. De syllabus van danstechnieken ontwikkeld door Eddie Torres, gebaseerd op salsa dansen op de 2e tel van de muziekmaat (salsa on2), sluit voor ons het beste aan bij deze visie.
In onze lessen besteden we aandacht aan fundamentals (de basiselementen van dans), shines (dansmoves die je zonder partner kan doen) en natuurlijk partnering. Plezier en geduld staan voorop, dus je gaat gegarandeerd met frisse energie en een grote glimlach weer terug naar huis.

De lessen vinden plaats op maandag van 20:00 tot 21:00 uur en duurt in totaal drie maanden.

Have you been dancing salsa for some time, and do you want to switch to on2? This month, we start with a new 3 months course at Poetic Motion for everyone who wants to switch from dancing salsa on1 to salsa on2.
Why dancing on2?
To us, every salsa style (salsa on1, salsa on2, Cuban salsa or any other type) is equal. We don’t think that one is better, more advanced or more fun than the other. At Poetic Motion, we find it important that the dance techniques we use, fit the way our human bodies function. We feel that the syllabus of dance techniques developed by Eddie Torres, based on dancing salsa on the second count of the music (salsa on2), fits that vision best.
In our classes, we pay attention to fundamentals (the basic elements of dance), shines (individual dance moves) and of course partnering. Fun and patience are key, so you will return home with fresh energy and a smile on your face for sure.

the classes take place every Monday from 8 to 9 PM. The full course lasts 3 months.
